Eastminster Presbyterian Church is a welcoming, medium-sized congregation located on the east side of Evansville, Indiana, on Washington Avenue. Formed in 1999 through a merger of two historic Presbyterian congregations with roots tracing back to First Presbyterian Church established in 1821, Eastminster embodies its mission statement of "Heads, Hearts and Hands for Christ in Service and Celebration." The church serves its community through numerous ministries for children, youth, adults, and missions both locally and globally, while maintaining a strong emphasis on lay governance, biblical study, and pastoral care. Visitors will find a congregation of exceptionally friendly people committed to sharing Christ's love through worship, education, and service.

Dress Code: People dress in all different styles at Eastminster, from very formal to very casual, as the church believes God cares more about your heart than your attire. Service Format: Sunday worship service at 10:30 AM lasts about one hour, with Sunday School from 9:00-10:00 AM, coffee and fellowship at 10:30 AM, and a nursery available for infants and toddlers. A children's sermon is followed by Children's Worship time for ages 4 through second grade. Visitor Tips: The church has a circle drive with convenient drop-off at sanctuary level, wheelchair accessibility with an elevator to all rooms, and assisted listening devices for those with hearing difficulties.
