About Sacred Heart Catholic Church
Sacred Heart Church is a Catholic parish in Fort Wayne, Indiana, staffed by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and dedicated to serving the faithful through the traditional Roman Rite. Established through the generosity of Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades, the parish welcomes those attached to traditional forms of worship and invites all who desire to experience the richness and diversity of the Church's liturgical and spiritual traditions. The church is notably home to over 250 first-class relics of saints and blessed individuals, displayed in a dedicated prayer area where the faithful can venerate them, with particular relics exposed in the sanctuary on corresponding feast days. Through its comprehensive Mass schedule, sacramental offerings, and connection to the seminary formation of future priests, Sacred Heart serves as a spiritual home for a vibrant Catholic community.
