About St. Joseph SSPX Chapel
St. Joseph SSPX Chapel, located on Broadway Street in Greenwood, Indiana, was founded in 1977 and is now a fully-affiliated mission chapel of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X. The chapel offers the Traditional Mass and Sacraments of the Holy Roman Catholic Church to faithful Catholics from across the country. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Fr. Jonah Garno and Rev. Fr. John O'Connor, the community celebrates Low Mass at 8:00 AM and High Mass at 10:00 AM on Sundays, with additional observances including First Friday and First Saturday Masses. The Society's mission centers on the formation of holy priests through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the preaching of Catholic doctrine, and the administration of the sacraments within a community of prayer and charity.

Dress Code: On Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, all males of first communion age and older should wear a dress shirt and tie with an appropriate jacket (teenage males and older); ladies should have their heads covered and wear an appropriate dress, with chapel veils available in the vestibules; work-type clothing, denim, shorts, athletic wear, lettered or sleeveless shirts, and immodest clothing are inappropriate. Service Format: Sunday Mass includes both Low Mass at 8:00 AM and High Mass at 10:00 AM with confessions at 7:30 and 9:00 AM; First Friday Mass is at 7:00 PM with confessions beginning at 6:30 PM; First Saturday Mass is at 9:00 AM with confessions beginning at 8:00 AM.
