About State Street Community Church
State Street Community Church is a multi-generational Christian community located at the corner of State and Linwood Streets in downtown La Porte, Indiana. Since 2010, the church has served as a welcoming expression of faith grounded in the Bible and the Apostles' Creed. Beyond Sunday worship, State Street extends its ministry into the neighborhood through the Pax Center, which operates food pantries, community meals, and green spaces to serve LaPorte County. The church also operates a preschool on campus focused on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and faith-based learning.
