About Family Bible Church
Family Bible Church is an evangelical Bible church located in Portage, Indiana, affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. Originally planted from Liberty Bible Church in the mid-1990s and meeting initially at Portage High School, the congregation purchased its present building at 5200 Central Avenue in 2019. Under the leadership of Pastor David McGrath, who holds a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, the church focuses on becoming involved with people so they might know Christ personally, follow Him completely, and make Him known broadly. The church welcomes visitors to join in worship and offers a live stream option for those unable to attend in person.
