About Community United Reform Church
Community United Reformed Church, located in Schererville, Indiana, welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to join their worship community. The church traces its spiritual heritage to the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century and grounds its theology in three historic Reformed doctrinal standards: the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort. Worship at Community United centers on biblical elements including singing, confession, prayer, Christ-centered preaching, and celebration of the sacraments. The congregation gathers on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM and Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM, and the church provides comprehensive ministries for youth and adults, nursery care during both services, and a welcoming narthex designed for fellowship and connection. Whether you are new to the area, exploring faith, or simply curious, the church extends a warm invitation to experience their community of believers.
