About Kennard Baptist Church
Kennard Baptist Church, established in 1963, serves the Kennard area and surrounding communities including Shirley, Greensboro, Wilkinson, and numerous neighboring towns across Indiana. Led by Senior Pastor Brent Weaver since 2013, the church describes itself as a loving, friendly, family-oriented body of believers that welcomes visitors from all backgrounds. The congregation gathers for Sunday morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preceded by Sunday School at 10 a.m., and offers Junior Church for children twelve and under. The church supports various missionary works, hosts men's and ladies' fellowship groups, and runs an AWANA program for children ages two through high school. Music at Kennard Baptist blends traditional hymns, contemporary songs, and southern Gospel music with a variety of instruments.
