About Broadway Christian Parish Church
Broadway Christian Parish is a United Methodist congregation in the Southeast neighborhood of South Bend, Indiana, dedicated to ministering with compassion and hospitality to the community. Rooted in the Methodist tradition, the church celebrates God's grace through acts of service, advocacy, acceptance, and worship centered on the Word and weekly celebration of the Eucharist. Under the leadership of Pastor Joe Boggs, Broadway serves approximately 100 guests each weekday morning with free home-cooked breakfast, operates a food pantry, and provides essential hospitality services including showers, laundry facilities, clothing, and advocacy support for those experiencing homelessness. The congregation welcomes all people regardless of race, age, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, or veteran status, and invites visitors to join them for Sunday worship and community engagement.
