Saint Patrick Saint Hedwig Parish represents a rich spiritual heritage in South Bend, Indiana, combining two historic Catholic communities founded by Irish and German immigrants in 1858 and Polish immigrants in 1877. The two parishes officially united on August 22, 2024, creating a vibrant faith community rooted in the West Washington National Historic District. The parish welcomes returning Catholics, those new to the faith, married families, engaged couples, and people of all backgrounds seeking spiritual growth and connection to the Gospel.
