Family Bible Church is a Bible-affiliated church plant established in the mid-1990s from Liberty Bible Church in Chesterton, originally meeting at Portage High School Auditorium before purchasing its current building in 2019. The church is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America and is led by Pastor David McGrath, who has served since 2005 and holds a Master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. The congregation gathers for worship each Sunday morning with a focus on pastoral preaching designed to stimulate faith and motivate life change. Located at 5200 Central Avenue in Portage, Family Bible Church welcomes visitors to become involved in community and grow in their personal relationship with Christ.
