About St. John Lutheran Church
St. John Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, serving the community from its location at 416 Main Avenue. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Daniel Pool, the church gathers for worship following Lutheran liturgical traditions, which emphasize Scripture-centered preaching, congregational singing with organ accompaniment, and the regular celebration of the Sacraments. The congregation welcomes visitors to experience their services, which blend ancient Christian worship practices with a warm, ordinary community of believers seeking to grow in Christ together. St. John also operates a five-star preschool program that incorporates daily faith instruction alongside developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children.
