About New Horizon Presbyterian Church
New Horizon Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, was established in 2005 through the union of two historic congregations, Grace Presbyterian and First Presbyterian, building on more than 150 years of community presence. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Rachelle McCalla, the church welcomes people from all walks of life into a loving and comfortable environment. New Horizon offers both traditional and contemporary worship services, along with Christian education classes for youth and adults on Sunday mornings, and various prayer, study, and mission groups throughout the week. The congregation is committed to knowing Christ and sharing God's love through local, national, and international missions, while encouraging members to contribute their gifts of treasure, time, and talent to serve others.
