About Abundant Life Ministries
Abundant Life Ministries is a Christian church located in Jefferson, Iowa, with roots tracing back to April 1978 when it was incorporated as Loving Shepherd Fellowship. The church emerged from the Charismatic movement of the late 1970s, bringing together believers from various denominational backgrounds who sought a return to biblical simplicity and an atmosphere open to the working of the Holy Spirit. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Isaak Wangler, who began serving in January 2020, the church has grown from meeting in a small house to its current location at 1308 West Lincoln Way, where it has held services since March 1985. Abundant Life Ministries emphasizes helping people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and experience God's grace, which the church believes brings genuine life transformation. The congregation gathers each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and welcomes visitors to join their worship and community activities throughout the year.
