About Pathway Church
Pathway Church is a non-denominational community in Johnston, Iowa, committed to building mission-minded disciples through worship, connection, and service. Founded in 2001 by Dan and Cheryl Hudson in their basement, the church has grown to occupy a dedicated facility at 6523 Merle Hay Rd since 2014. The congregation emphasizes contemporary worship, practical biblical teaching, and authentic relationships, with a particular focus on both local and international ministry—including ongoing partnerships in Zimbabwe where they sponsor children, support schools, and plant new churches. Pathway's core values center on Jesus as the cornerstone, family-oriented care, authenticity, and a belief that intimacy with God transforms lives.
