About Emergency Food Box

Operating entirely through volunteers and community donations, the organization provides monthly food assistance including canned goods, fresh produce, bread, and vouchers for dairy items and bananas. The ministry reflects a commitment to demonstrating God's faithfulness to those most in need, drawing support from the Food Bank of Iowa, local businesses, churches, and generous community members. Guided by a 17-member board of directors, the Emergency Food Box continues its mission of fighting hunger in Marshalltown through compassion and collective action rooted in Christian values.
