About Church of Christ
Christ's Church is an Independent Christian Church located in Mason City, Iowa, with roots in the Restoration Movement. Established in 1947 by a small group of believers, the congregation has grown to approximately 85 members and regular attenders, with 50–60 people typically present on Sunday mornings. The church is led by Senior Minister Curt Gallmeyer and a board of elders who guide the congregation in following biblical teachings as their sole source of spiritual authority. Christ's Church welcomes visitors of all faith stages and invites them to join the Sunday service at 10 a.m. The congregation is deeply committed to missions, dedicating 15% of their yearly budget to support domestic and international ministries. Their mission is to help people become wholehearted, lifelong followers of Jesus Christ through knowing God's word, engaging in meaningful relationships, and extending generosity to their community.
