About First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian Church in Monticello is a Presbyterian congregation with roots in the spring of 1882, when the church began and counted fourteen charter members by June of that year. Its current church building was completed and dedicated on August 2, 1903. Sunday mornings include Sunday School, fellowship time, and worship, with children’s ministry among the church’s programs. Worship is also livestreamed each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM on Facebook. The church building is used by community organizations including Boy Scouts, Campfire, and Garden Club. Pastoral information includes Rev. Al Polito, Jr., and a special congregational meeting called Pastor Bill Warhover, who began on August 1.
