About Whiting Christian Church
Whiting Christian Church is a welcoming congregation located at 716 West Street in Whiting, Iowa, one block north of Whiting Community School. The church is dedicated to building Christ-like communities one neighbor at a time, with a mission rooted in Matthew 28's great commission to share the transforming love of Jesus with their neighbors and the world. They offer Sunday School classes for all ages beginning at 9 a.m., followed by a contemporary worship service at 10 a.m. that lasts approximately one hour. The church emphasizes spiritual growth through studying God's Word, with resources available for both in-person attendance and online viewing of messages. Visitors are invited to experience a relaxed, welcoming environment where they can worship comfortably and connect with a community focused on faith, compassion, and transformation.
