About Mission Church Of God
Mission Church of God in Florence is a Church of God congregation connected with the Cleveland Assembly. The church was formed in 2008 after Pastor Wayne Guilliams felt called in 2007 to start the ministry. Its name reflects its stated mission: “Mobilizing Ignited Selfless Servants in Obedience Now.” The church’s beliefs include water baptism by immersion, the Lord’s Supper, washing of the saints’ feet, and speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Sunday gatherings include Sunday School, morning worship, and an evening service, with an additional Thursday evening service.
