About Church of Christ
Church of Christ in Louisville is an autonomous congregation under the leadership of elders, with Fred Echols and Steve Sebree serving as elders. The congregation restored an eldership in December 2017 and describes its aim as being the same church as the one described in the New Testament. Its stated emphasis is spiritual rather than material or social, with regular opportunities for Bible study and worship. Weekly Bible studies are offered before Sunday morning worship and on Wednesday evenings, alongside Sunday morning and evening worship. The church also lists children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups among its programs.
