About Tall Timbers Baptist Conference Center
Tall Timbers Baptist Conference Center is a Baptist retreat and conference facility located in Forest Hill, Louisiana, approximately 13 miles south of Alexandria on the edge of Kisatchie National Forest. Founded in the 1950s through the vision of Marjorie Jones and supported by the Louisiana Baptist Convention, the center has grown to serve churches, schools, universities, and community groups throughout Louisiana and beyond. The facility can accommodate up to 475 guests across hotel rooms and cabins, offers four conference rooms of varying sizes for meetings and gatherings, and features scenic walking trails around a spring-fed lake. Whether hosting summer camps, weekend retreats, or other ministry events, Tall Timbers provides a peaceful natural setting designed to foster spiritual growth and meaningful experiences for visitors of all ages.
