About Galvez Pentecostal Church (UPC)
Galvez Pentecostal Church, located in Gonzales, Louisiana, has served the Galvez community since 1938 when Reverend Van Hodge brought the Apostolic message through tent revivals and prayer meetings. The church constructed its first building in the early 1940s and has since grown under the leadership of multiple pastors, with the current facility built in 1998. Today, under the ministry of Reverend David Hairford and his wife Kim, the congregation remains committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with authentic worship, passionate singing, and anointed preaching. The church welcomes visitors and makes every effort to create a warm, homelike atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. Services are offered on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, with age-appropriate classes and activities for children and youth throughout the week.
