About St John Baptist Church
St. John Baptist Church in Haughton, Louisiana has served its community since its organization in 1865 under the spiritual leadership of the late Rev. Albert White. The church is devoted to Jesus Christ and the authority of the Holy Spirit, with a mission centered on seeking the lost, saving them, serving them, and sending them out for the work of the ministry. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Larry W. Cain since 2012, the congregation is dedicated to inspiring a thorough knowledge of God and the witness of Christian love while building an understanding of Baptist doctrine. The church offers Sunday school, morning worship, Bible study, and various ministry activities throughout the month, welcoming visitors to join in their spiritual journey.
