About Baptist Student Ministry
Baptist Student Ministry is a Cooperative Program ministry of Louisiana Baptists serving college students across 28 campuses throughout Louisiana. The ministry works to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ on campuses, help students grow in their commitment to Christ, and provide opportunities for service locally and around the world. Based in Lafayette, this organization recognizes that college students represent a critical point in spiritual development as they transition toward becoming committed church members as adults. Through campus-based directors and associate directors, the ministry creates intentional spaces for college-aged students to deepen their faith, build community with other believers, and engage in missions work including the annual GOLA summer missions program that serves churches and communities across the region.
