St. Genevieve Catholic Church is one of the oldest active parishes in the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana, with a rich heritage rooted in the Gospel, faith, and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. As a Eucharist-centered community, the parish welcomes visitors and those interested in learning more about the faith. The church proclaims the Gospel of Jesus and His Real Presence in the Eucharist while challenging its members to grow in holiness and join with other churches and community groups in serving the sick, suffering, lonely, and less fortunate. Service Format: Saturday vigil masses at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.; Sunday masses at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 12:00 noon; weekday masses Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12:00 noon, and Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Visitor Tips: Reconciliation is available Saturday 3:00-3:45 p.m. and 5:10-5:45 p.m., and Sunday 7:10-7:45 a.m., 9:10-9:45 a.m., and 11:10-11:45 a.m.; office hours are Monday–Thursday 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
