About The Family Church
The Family Church in Lafayette, Louisiana welcomes visitors regardless of their church background, whether they are new to faith, long-time Christians, or seeking a fresh spiritual start. Founded in 1973 by Pastors Sterling and Jean Miller with just thirteen people in attendance, the church has grown to approximately 1,200 members and expanded significantly across more than 100 acres. Currently led by Pastors Jay and Tessy Miller since 2002, the church emphasizes building lives, families, and futures by connecting people to Jesus Christ through a focus on authentic community and the transformative power of the gospel. The church maintains a strong commitment to discipleship and outreach, rooted in its founding mission to serve every member of the family. Visitors are invited to experience a welcoming environment where they can develop a meaningful connection to God alongside a supportive community of believers.
