First Pentecostal Church is a Pentecostal congregation located in Marrero, Louisiana, serving the Westbank community with a focus on Jesus Christ and inviting others to experience freedom in faith. Founded in 1958 in the home of Howard Lambert and later established in Gretna before relocating to its current 19-acre campus on Ames Boulevard in Marrero in 1978, the church has a rich history of growth and community service. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Michael K. Sartin and his wife Sandy since 1986, FPC Westbank offers a welcoming environment for families, with services on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., as well as Wednesday evening gatherings. The church provides nursery care for infants through age three, Sunday School classes for children ages four through twelve, and youth programming for teens, creating age-appropriate spiritual experiences for the entire family. Visitors are encouraged to come as they are and experience a church culture centered on passionate faith and genuine welcome from the congregation.
