About St Andrew Church
St. Andrew Church is a Catholic parish established in January 1965 in Morgan City, Louisiana, serving the local community with a rich history of faith and resilience. The parish has grown from its humble beginnings—including temporary worship spaces in a rectory, a family's camp, and a school cafeteria following Hurricane Betsy in 1965—to a fully developed parish with a dedicated church building, mausoleum, parish hall, and religious education center. The church welcomes new members and visitors with warmth and eagerness to guide them in the Catholic faith. St. Andrew offers multiple Mass times throughout the week to accommodate different schedules and includes Spanish-language services on Sundays. The parish invites visitors and prospective members to connect with the community and learn more about becoming part of the St. Andrew family.
