About Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association
The Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association serves as a cooperative network supporting Southern Baptist churches in Caddo and Bossier Parishes. Formed in 1969 through the merger of three historic Baptist associations dating back to 1892, the organization exists to strengthen member churches, promote mission opportunities, develop leadership, and nurture fellowship among congregations. Based in Shreveport, the association provides training events, pastoral support, and resources to help churches grow and fulfill the Great Commission. Through conferences, mission partnerships with the North American and International Mission Boards, and regular gatherings for pastors and church leaders, the association embodies its core belief that congregations can accomplish far more together than separately.
