Living The Word in Slidell, Louisiana is a Christian church passionate about Jesus, family, friendships, and demonstrating the love of Jesus to all. Located conveniently two blocks off I-10 at Exit 263, the church welcomes visitors whether they are new to the area or looking for a fresh start. Services are held Sundays at 9 AM and Wednesdays at 7 PM, with each service lasting approximately 90 minutes and featuring contemporary worship music, engaging biblically-based messages, and free coffee upon arrival. The church provides reserved parking with parking ambassadors, reserved seating, and youth church programs for children ages 2 through 12th grade. Pastors Lawrence and Chiquita personally greet visitors after each service and invite guests to connect through Connect Groups throughout the week.

Service Format: Services feature mostly contemporary music with an atmosphere of freedom where all genres are used, engaging and biblically-based messages centered on Jesus Christ, and typically last around 90 minutes. Visitor Tips: First-time guests receive reserved parking (turn on hazard lights for a parking ambassador), reserved seating, a greeting from the Hospitality Team, and a personal welcome from pastors after service. Being recognized as a first-time guest is optional—you may choose to stand and be welcomed or remain seated.
