About Our Lady Of Lourdes
Our Lady of Lourdes is a Catholic parish located in Vidalia, Louisiana, serving the faithful in the heart of Louisiana's historic region. As part of the Diocese of Alexandria, which was established in 1853 to serve Catholics throughout northern Louisiana, this parish continues a tradition of spiritual care and community ministry that spans nearly two centuries. The diocese has grown from its humble beginnings with five priests and five churches to a thriving ecclesiastical community, guided today by Bishop Robert W. Marshall, Jr., who was installed as the 13th Bishop of Alexandria in 2020.
