About Strangers Home Baptist Church
Strangers Home Baptist Church, founded in 1906 in Zachary, Louisiana, embodies its motto as 'The Church Where No One Is a Stranger.' The congregation seeks to create a welcoming environment where visitors feel at home and are drawn into lifelong fellowship. With a rich history spanning over a century, the church has weathered challenges and transitions while remaining committed to its three-fold mission: reaching up to God for His Word, reaching in to mobilize servants, and reaching out to invite the world. Under the leadership of Reverend Lorenzo T. Bennett, who was officially installed in March 2021, Strangers Home continues to grow and mature, offering multiple worship and study opportunities for its members and guests.
