About Cornerstone Baptist Church
Cornerstone Baptist Church in Camden, Maine was founded in 1989 by approximately twenty adults committed to Bible-believing, fundamental Baptist convictions. The church built its current meeting house in 1998 and continues to emphasize teaching the Holy Scriptures, proclaiming Jesus Christ as the only Savior, and maintaining the doctrines of grace. Under the leadership of Pastor Matt Coons since 2018, the congregation gathers for worship, prayer, and fellowship while engaging in spiritual growth through biblical teaching and the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper. The church welcomes visitors who desire to grow in their faith and be part of a community committed to glorifying God.
