About New Brackett Church
New Brackett Church, located in Portland, Maine, welcomes people of all beliefs and traditions to join their community. Sunday services begin at 10am and feature prayer, community, and beautiful music, with communion offered on the first Sunday of each month. Children ages 6-12 participate in Spiritual Life education during services from September to June, and fellowship with potluck gatherings follow each service. The church also offers a Saturday Eucharist Service at 5pm (September through June) and maintains an active music program with a drop-in choir that rehearses before Sunday services. Beyond worship, New Brackett Church serves the Peaks Island community by hosting the local food pantry, vaccine clinics, and an emergency warming and cooling center.
