About The Transformation Project
The Transformation Project is a Christ-centered recovery and reentry ministry located in Westbrook, Maine, dedicated to helping men break free from addiction and incarceration through Christian discipleship. Founded in 2015, the organization addresses the root causes of addiction and brokenness by walking alongside men and equipping them to live in freedom, faith, and purpose. The ministry is built on four key foundations: discipleship through intensive 40-day and 12-month programs, community fostered through residential living and Bible studies, recovery rooted in biblical principles, and service that empowers men to become servant-leaders in their families and communities. With a team of dedicated leaders including Executive Director Josh Umlah, The Transformation Project serves as a beacon of hope, transforming individual lives and strengthening families and communities through faith-filled community and biblical teaching.
