About Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church
Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church is located in the heart of downtown Baltimore at 10 East Mount Vernon Place, with roots in the Mount Vernon neighborhood since 1872. Currently in a period of intentional discernment to renew itself as a vital congregation, the church emphasizes love in action, strength through connection, unity with diversity, partnering with purpose, and freedom to try new approaches to ministry. Led by Pastor Megan Blizzard, a life-long Methodist and seminary student, the congregation welcomes all to experience worship in their historic building and offers digital access to sermons and worship experiences through YouTube and a digital bulletin. The church is deeply committed to affirming all people and building transformative relationships in the community as the hands and feet of Christ.
