About Barnesville Baptist Church
Barnesville Baptist Church is a traditional evangelical Southern Baptist congregation founded in 1871, situated among white oaks in Montgomery County's Agricultural Reserve. The church welcomes visitors into a close-knit fellowship of about 140 members, large enough to offer diverse ministries yet intimate enough that members know one another by name. Sunday worship features hymn singing, prayer, scripture reading, and preaching, with Sunday School classes available at 9:30 am for all ages. The church emphasizes discipleship, community service, and missions support, with members volunteering at local shelters, nursing homes, and thrift shops. Barnesville Baptist invites both first-time visitors and longtime members to experience their spirit of Christian friendship and unified service to God's Kingdom.
