Maranatha Adventist Fellowship Church is a Bible-believing, inclusive congregation located in Bowie, Maryland, serving a diverse membership from across Africa, the Caribbean, and North America. Founded in 1995 by Nigerian Adventists seeking to create a welcoming space for their community, the church has grown from small home Bible studies and informal gatherings into an established fellowship. The congregation celebrates its multicultural heritage through worship that blends African culture, multiple languages, and warm hospitality, creating what members describe as a unique worship experience infused with African flavor. In 2009, the church acquired a 6.7-acre property in Bowie, and is currently undertaking a capital campaign to construct a 500-seat worship center. Led by Pastor Uzooma Erondu, Maranatha emphasizes the transformative power of God's Word and the importance of community fellowship in making an eternal impact.
