About Mt of Salvation
Mount of Salvation is a Christian & Missionary Alliance church located in Hyattsville, Maryland, founded in 1978 by the late Special Apostle Michael Olayinka Osilesi. The church has a rich history of spiritual growth, having moved from humble beginnings in members' homes and borrowed spaces to its own dedicated building in 1993, which was fully renovated and rededicated in 2008. The congregation emphasizes biblical worship practices rooted in Old and New Testament traditions, including the use of altars, candles, and incense, alongside contemporary ministries including multiple church bands and prayer groups. Services are held on Sundays for Thanksgiving Service and Wednesdays for Shiloh Service, with monthly Night Vigils on the last Friday of each month. The church welcomes visitors of all backgrounds and maintains a strong focus on prayer, fasting, divine healing, and the fellowship of believers without prejudice to race, color, or creed.
