About Largo Community Church
Largo Community Church, located in Mitchellville, Maryland, is a Christ-centered, non-denominational congregation founded in 1972 with a vision to be a welcoming church without walls. Known as the Church of Friendship and Joy, the church is dedicated to leading people to Christ and cultivating disciples who make disciples through God's Word and loving fellowship. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dwayne B. Hooper, Sr., who was ordained in May 2025, LCC offers uplifting worship that blends contemporary and traditional styles, powerful biblical teaching, and genuine community connection.
