About Largo Community Church
Largo Community Church is a non-denominational congregation in Mitchellville founded in 1972 by Dr. H. Jack Morris and Corin Morris. Known as the “Church of Friendship and Joy,” the church describes itself as Christ-centered and devoted to leading people to Christ and cultivating disciples who make disciples. Worship is contemporary, with Sunday services at 9:00 and 11:00 AM, and every fifth Sunday the congregation gathers for one joint 10:00 AM service. Senior Pastor Dwayne B. Hooper, Sr. was ordained to that role in May 2025. Children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups are part of the church’s life together.
