About Faith Presbyterian Church
Faith Presbyterian Church in Olney, Maryland was founded in 1988 and became a fully organized congregation in 1994. After meeting in several community locations, the church moved into its own building in 2003. Under the pastoral leadership of Bill Sutherland since 2005, Faith Presbyterian offers Christ-centered worship services that blend traditional hymns with contemporary music, featuring Scripture readings, prayers, and a typical duration of 75 minutes. The church welcomes visitors and provides nursery care for infants through age two, as well as children's church programming for ages three through second grade. Adult and children's Sunday school classes are available from September through mid-June, reflecting the church's belief that Biblical teaching is relevant to people of all ages.

Dress Code: Casual dress is welcome; families need not dress up their children for Sunday worship. Service Format: Worship services are held Sunday mornings from 10:30am to 11:45am (hybrid format with in-person and Zoom options). Services are typically 75 minutes and include Scripture readings, hymns and contemporary music, prayers including the Lord's Prayer, and a sermon. Visitor Tips: Communion is available to those who have made a public confession of faith and are members in good standing of a Christian church.
