About Jerusalem Baptist Church
Jerusalem Baptist Church has served the Jerusalem community in Poolesville, Maryland since 1874, when it was founded by Brother Robert Williams. Led by Reverend C. Glenn Taylor, the church’s mission emphasizes worship, missionary outreach, evangelism, biblical training, and teaching. Its Christian education ministry includes a New Members class, church-wide orientation classes, and a Bible Study Group, and the church participates in National Baptist Convention activities and training. Small groups and Bible study provide opportunities for members and newcomers to grow in faith and understanding of Scripture.
