About Christ Church
Christ Church in Port Republic, Maryland, has been sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with Calvert County since 1672. The congregation offers two Sunday services: a traditional Rite I service at 8:30 a.m. and a Rite II service with congregational singing at 10:00 a.m., with the latter also available via Zoom. Beyond worship, the church provides adult Bible studies, including a Thursday morning and Wednesday evening Ladies Bible Study currently exploring the Book of Acts. The church is actively engaged in community outreach through programs such as Heart F.E.L.T., SMILE ecumenical ministries, and community groups on campus, as well as hosting the annual 159th Jousting Tournament and Bazaar. Visitors are warmly welcomed to join the congregation for worship and fellowship.
