About Union United Methodist Church
Union United Methodist Church, founded in 1852, is located in the heart of St. Michaels, Maryland, on the corners of Fremont Street and Railroad Avenue. For more than 160 years, this historic church has served the African American community and the greater Bay Hundred area of Talbot County as a devoted and close-knit congregation. Under the current leadership of Pastor Keith Beckett, Union offers Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. and provides various ministries including senior adult programs, youth and children's ministries, community Bible studies, and an active outreach program through Union's Emergency Fund. The congregation is deeply involved in community service through partnerships with local organizations and hosts special celebrations throughout the year, including a Festival of Trees and annual homecoming in August.
