About Messiah Lutheran Church
Welcome to Messiah Lutheran Evangelical Church, a growing congregation in Sykesville, Maryland, celebrating 144 years of ministry in the Carroll County area. As part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Messiah serves members of all ages and is home to a preschool program for children ages 3 through 5. The church is actively engaged in community service, including participation in Carroll County Food Sunday and hosts an annual Strawberry Festival. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Michael A. Dubsky, Messiah teaches God's Word, demonstrates His love, and shares faith in Jesus Christ through worship, education, and service.
