Born when the neighboring Adelphi Friends Meeting outgrew its space, this preparative meeting gathers for worship in silence each Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, seeking communion with one another and the Divine through the Quaker tradition of listening for the Inner Light. The meeting welcomes visitors of all backgrounds, including families with children, and maintains a commitment to core Quaker testimonies of peace, integrity, simplicity, community, equality, and stewardship.
