About Timbrel University
Timbrel Church International is an Apostolic congregation located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, commissioned with the vision to refresh, renew, and minister deliverance and hope to transform lives. Founded in 2003 by Bishop PJ Edmund and Executive Pastor Chelly Edmund, the church has grown from its initial seven members into a thriving multicultural ministry dedicated to spiritual renewal and community service. The church's name derives from the Hebrew word 'toph,' an instrument of praise symbolizing the church's focus on refreshing and restoration through God's transformative power. Services are described as inspirational and energetic, filled with powerful praise, dynamic worship, and the Word of God, designed to bring believers into God's presence while motivating them to serve their communities. Timbrel emphasizes spiritual growth, biblical study, and equipping individuals to live out their faith with purpose and empowerment.
