About Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church
Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church has served the Walkersville community since 1891 from its location in the heart of historic downtown Walkersville. The congregation welcomes all people regardless of race, ethnic background, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, or any other distinction, emphasizing that questions and doubts are welcome. Rooted in the Lutheran belief that salvation comes through God's grace alone via Christ, Saint Paul's invites visitors to experience a vibrant community of believers who celebrate life's victories together and support one another through challenges. The church actively serves the broader community by hosting the GLADE Valley Community Services Thrift Shop and volunteering at the food bank. Visitors are encouraged to join Sunday worship at 9:00 am or attend any of the church's special events throughout the year.
