About Salem Covenant Church
Salem Covenant Church has served Worcester since 1896, when it was founded downtown as First Swedish Evangelical Congregational Church. It later became Salem Square Covenant Church in 1949 and took the name Salem Covenant Church on East Mountain Street in 1968. The congregation gathers for in-person worship at 10:00 AM and also recognizes the Nipmuc tribal nation through a land acknowledgement. Family and youth programming includes 1/3 @ SALEM, a first-and-third Wednesday gathering with dinner and programming for young children, and 2/4 @ SALEM, a program for middle school and high school students on the second and fourth weekends of each month.
