About Congreational United
The Congregational United Church of Christ in Armada, Michigan is a historic congregation with deep roots in the community, having been incorporated in 1838 as the First Congregational Church. The current building, erected in 1914 in traditional New England architectural style, features a beautiful nine-rank Moeller pipe organ installed in 1987. The church maintains a rich musical heritage and emphasizes traditional worship while welcoming diverse perspectives within the Christian faith. Members are actively engaged in community service through partnerships with the Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team, the Armada Community Food Pantry, and The Sharing Organization. The congregation is committed to planting seeds of faith, hope, and love while nurturing lifelong Christian prayer, faith, and service in their community.
